Biesty Carpets has worked for Manchester Cathedral for many years and it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful the cathedral is and the history of the place is very humbling; having stood there for hundreds of years watching the many changes Manchester has undergone. According to Wikipedia evidence of an early Saxon church dated to around 700 AD is preserved in the cathedral.
This time the job was fitting carpets to the platforms that stand by the Lecturns; a tricky but satisfying job!
